Usability and return on investment
Have been doing some research into return on investment and usability and user experience work and I thought I’d share.
- IBM calculate that for every $1 spent on user experience the business makes between $10 - $100
- Research by the Nielsen Norman groups shows an average increase of 135% in e-commerce metrics following usability work
- The design council calculates that for every £100 spent on design turnover increases by £225
